Gardaí hope to interview teen survivor of double shooting

Gardaí are hoping to interview a 14-year-old boy who witnessed last night's fatal shooting of two brothers in west Dublin later today.

The teenager was a back seat passenger in the Toyota Lexus in which Paul and Kenneth Corbally were killed at around 8pm last night.

Gardaí believe at least two masked men pulled up alongside them on the Neilstown Road, in a silver Audi bearing a taxi plate.

The boy received minor gunshot wounds and is being treated at Tallaght hospital.

Garda Commissioner Fachtna Murphy said he will make every resource available to the investigation team.

"This should not be happening on a fine summer's evening in a suburb of Dublin," Commissioner Murphy said.
