Army makes two viable bomb devices in Lucan safe

An Army bomb disposal team has made safe two viable improvised explosive devices in the Cooldrinagh Lane area of Lucan today.

Following a request from the gardaí, an Army Bomb Disposal Team was deployed to the area.

They arrived on scene at 1.20pm. Following an examination of the devices, the bomb disposal team made the devices safe at the scene, which was declared safe at 2.55pm.
