Two men have been treated for mild hypothermia after their speedboat capsized in Galway Bay.

Two men have been treated for mild hypothermia after their speedboat capsized in Galway Bay.

The men were rescued soon after the incident took place at a 10.15pm last night, half way between Inishmore Island and Rossaveal on the Connemara coast.

They were taken on board a research vessel and then brought ashore by the Aran Islands Lifeboat.
