Ahern confident legislation will close head shops

The Justice Minister Dermot Ahern has said he hopes new legislation published today will lead to the closure of all head shops around the country.

The Bill will make it a criminal offence to sell or supply psychoactive substances for human consumption - which are not already outlawed under the Misuse of Drugs Acts.
