Kenny in it for long haul: Fine Gael

Under-pressure Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny will stay at the party helm for the next general election, a spokesman said today.

Mr Kenny has faced reports of a frontbench revolt and speculation over his future after a series of disappointing poll ratings, which saw the party fall into second place behind Labour.
