Blarney murder trial to begin today
A teenager is due to go on trial in Cork today charged with the murder of a man in Blarney last year.
Shannon Ruby, aged 30, died following a stabbing incident at a house on September 26, 2009.
A 17-year-old, who can't be named for legal reasons, was later charged with the murder of the father of one at Ard na Greine, Station Road, Blarney.
The trial is to begin this morning at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Cork.
