The mother of a Polish construction worker killed when a crane beside him came into contact with overhead wires has settled her High Court Action for mental distress for €85,000.

Today Mr Justice John Quirke approved a settlement of €85,0000 to Mrs Krystyna Dzwil whose son Adrian Marek Dzwil (aged 23) died after being electrocuted at a construction site at Abbeyleix Road, Portlaoise on October 21, 2005.
