Man quizzed in connection with Dublin murder

A 22-year-old man was being questioned today over a suspected gangland murder last summer.

Pierce Reid was shot dead in the head several times in Clondalkin last August in a killing linked to other shootings in a west Dublin feud.

Gardaí said the arrested man was detained in the Clondalkin area this morning.

He was being held in the local Garda station under section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
