Man due in court over woman's stabbing

A 48-year-old man is due in court in Co Kildare charged in connection with the death of a woman in Athy yesterday.

The body of the 31-year-old woman was found at a house on Michael Dooley Terrace at around midnight on Wednesday night.

She had been stabbed during a row.

A man has been charged in relation to the death and is due before Naas District Court.
