CPSU rejects public sector pay deal
The Civil and Public Services Union has today become the first union to reject the Croke Park deal on pay and reform in the public sector.
The CPSU, which represents around 13,000 lower-paid civil servants, voted against the proposals by a majority of two to one.
Some 74% of the union turned out to vote, with 67% voting against, with 33% in favour.
