The family of an Irishman shot dead in Bolivia last year are taking their fight for justice to Brussels.

The Dwyer family will travel to the European Parliament today to meet with MEPs to try to gather support for an investigation into their son Michael's death.

The 24-year-old from Ballinderry, Co Tipperary, was killed in Santa Cruz last year.

He was one of three men killed during a shooting incident with police.

The family will be hosted by Ireland South MEP Alan Kelly, who will be raising the matter in the European Parliament.
