HSE to meet union this morning

Talks are set to take place between HSE management and the IMPACT union this morning.

The meeting is aimed at resolving the row regarding the transfer of financial data during the action over paycuts in the last few months.

It is feared the dispute could escalate after the HSE repeated its threat to take workers who will not carry out their normal duties off the payroll.

Unions say it this happens they may respond with strike action.
