PSNI and gardaí pledge to form closer links

The Garda Commissioner and the PSNI Chief Constable have promised to forge closer links between the two police forces, following the transfer of policing and justice powers to the north this week.

Fachtna Murphy and Matt Baggott were speaking after a meeting last night with the North's new Justice Minister David Ford, aimed at combating the threat from dissident republicans.
