Toyosi's family and friends gather for peaceful rally

Hundreds of friends and family of slain Dublin teenager Toyosi Shitabbey will march in Dublin city centre later today.

They say that they are trying to turn the tragic stabbing on Good Friday into an act of good by mobilising the public to ensure that it never happens again.

The peaceful rally gets underway at the Garden of Remembrance at 2pm today.

The 15-year-old student was stabbed just yards from his home in Tyrelltown in west Dublin.

The family's Pastor Dare Abetuberu said the family was in close contact with gardaí about he investigation into Toyosi's death.
