Dept of Foreign Affairs confirms Irish death in Colombia

The Department of Foreign Affairs has confirmed an Irish person has died in Colombia.

Thirty-two-year-old David Thorne from Curry in Longford died last Sunday.

The Department said the Irish embassy in Mexico and the honorary consulate in Colombia were providing assistance to Mr Thorne's family.
