ASTI votes to prioritise part-time jobs for unemployed teachers

Secondary teachers have appealed to their retired colleagues to stop "subbing" in schools.

One member of the Association of Secondary Teachers in Ireland has told their annual convention that retired teachers who were taking the hours off their younger colleagues were an "embarrassment".
