Twelve rescued by Clare Coastguard

Twelve people have been rescued from a sinking boat in Clare.

The group who are believed to be in their 20s were on the River Shannon at Killaloe Bridge overnight.

The Killaloe Coastguard co-ordinated the rescue operation along with the Coastguard Rescue Helicopter and local gardaí.
