Group urges households to recycle easter egg packaging

Households are being urged to recycle and minimise the amount of rubbish they produce over the Easter weekend.

According to Repak, €34m was spent on easter eggs in the run-up to the holiday - which equates to cardboard and packaging from 180,000 trees.
