Green Party conference concludes today

The Green Party conference concludes in Waterford today with closing motions on ethics, economics, and banking.

Last night the Green party leader John Gormley pledged to introduce new legislation which would end developer-led rezoning and he hit out at Fine Gael councillors over their close links to builders.

He also said being in government had been a gruelling reality check for the the party.

But he said the Greens had no regrets about it.
