Tipperary conference to highlight importance of CAP to farmers

The importance of the Common Agricultural Policy to Irish farmers will be highlighted at a conference in Tipperary later today.

The Irish Farmers' Association says awareness and understanding of the subsidies among the farming population and general public in Ireland is very low.
