Gormley rejects allegations of a cover-up
Environment Minister John Gormley is today rejecting Fine Gael accusations that he is involved in a cover-up in relation to the activities of the Dublin Docklands Development Authority.
Fine Gael has published key reports which raise questions about the cost of the Irish Glass Bottle plant and about the status of a large number of planning permissions granted by the authority in Dublin.
The party says the reports fail to expose the close links between developers, bankers and politicans in senior positions on the board of the authority.
