Gardaí investigate after teen dies in road collision

A teenager has died in a road collision in Dublin.

She was hit by a four-wheel drive as she walked along the Mulhuddart slip road on the N3 Dublin to Navan road at about 9pm last night.

The 14-year-old was taken to James Connolly Memorial hospital in Blanchardstown, but lost her fight for life at around midnight.

Garda investigations are ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
