FG members gather for national conference
Thousands of Fine Gael delegates from around the country are gathering in Killarney in Co Kerry for the start of the party's national conference.
Jobs and the economy will top the agenda for the two-day event which gets underway this evening.
Fine Gael goes into the conference on the back of a string of positive opinion polls, however there are rumblings over Enda Kenny's leadership.
Mr Kenny said Fine Gael will use this weekend's conference in Co Kerry as further preparation for Government.
Issues including health, children, crime, education and political reform will be discussed during the two day event at the Malton Hotel in Killarney, but the main focus will be on the economy and creating jobs.
The Fine Gael leader will make his opening address tonight and a televised speech tomorrow night.
