Dublin passport office to remain closed until Monday
The passport office in Dublin is closed to the public this afternoon and will not re-open until Monday morning.
The action is part of an on-going campaign by public service workers against pay cuts.
In Cork, the office has remained open but staff are not taking phone calls.
Fine Gael has called on the Government to intervene saying an external agency should be put in place if the passport office can't deliver a service.
