Man charged in connection with attack on Irishman in Sydney

A 19-year-old man has been charged by police in Australia over an attack on an Irishman.

The 29-year-old victim sustained serious head injuries in the incident which happened at a hotel in the Sydney suburb of Randwick on Sunday night.

Police have charged the 19-year-old with recklessly inflicting grievous bodily harm. He is due back in court again next month.
