Six-year sentence for thief scared off by 'feisty' postmistress

An armed robber who was "roared" off a premises by a "feisty" postmistress has received a six-year sentence with three suspended for this and related crimes.

Bernard Kelly (aged 29) was acting as look-out for the two men and was standing at the door armed with a small blade when they came running out.
