HSE workers in the west to work to rule

The Impact union has said its members will provide essential emergency cover as its work-to-rule extends to the HSE in the west of the country.

Staff in the HSE in Dublin and the North East refused to answer phones yesterday in an escalation of their campaign aganist pay and pension cuts.

The disruption to services will alternate to the HSE south tomorrow and Dublin and mid-Leinster on Friday.
