Cullen expected to stay in hospital for the week
Minister for Tourism Martin Cullen is expected to remain in a Dublin hospital for the rest of this week.
He is being treated for chronic back pain and was admitted after being unable to attend this morning's weekly Cabinet meeting.
It is speculated that the back complaint, which has left him using a walking stick, will lead him to resign as a Minister, and that his resignation letter has already been written.
