Taoiseach defends use of Government jet

The Taoiseach has confirmed that the Government jet made two trips to Copenhagen in December - to drop him off - and pick him up from the climate change summit.

Brian Cowen said airport authorities in Denmark would not allow the jet to park in Copenhagen overnight - so it had to return to Ireland and fly back to collect him the following day.
