Rift growing between Europe and Israel after assassination
There are fears of a diplomatic rift between Europe and Israel after a senior Hamas leader died in mysterious circumstances in a Dubai hotel.
It is understood Mr al-Mabhouh had been killed by eleven individuals travelling on European passports from Ireland, the UK, France and Germany.
Authorities believe the Israeli secret service Mossad was involved, but Israel has denied the allegations.
Fianna Fáil's Minister for European Affairs, Dick Roche, believes Europe should take a united front if the allegations are proven.
