Police in Dubai today revealed details of a further 15 suspects in the shooting dead of a Hamas militant there.

Three of them were using Irish documentation.

Mahmoud Al-Mabhouh, a Hamas militant, was shot dead in a Dubai hotel room by a gang using fake documents.

Police in the emirate confirmed today that they've identified a further 15 suspects in the case and now believe up to 10 fake Irish passports were used by them.

Others in the group were in possession of faked Austrialian, French and British identity papers.

Israel has consistently denied claims that the hit squad were in fact part of its secret service.

Foreign Affairs Minister Micháel Martin has arrived in Gaza today, but it is not clear whether he will discuss the matter with Palestinian authorities.
