More than €800,000 has been allocated to three Irish aid agencies working in Haiti.

More than €800,000 has been allocated to three Irish aid agencies working in Haiti.

The funding is being provided to Concern, World Vision and Haven to help them in their re-building efforts.

The United Nations has launched it's biggest ever appeal in response to a natural disaster, asking for $1.4bn for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

Over 200,000 people died in the quake, while thousands more were left homeless.
