Dept of Health sick leave 'needs to be addressed' - report

A new report has found that high levels of sick leave at the Department of Health "need of be addressed".

The report, seen by the Irish Times, highlights communication problems within the department and an "uneven" quality of leadership.

The review, carried out by the Department of the Taoiseach, says some staff have "little or nothing to do" while others are overwhelmed with work.
