O'Leary claims Govt has made false claims

Ryanair chief Michael O'Leary has accused the Government of making false claims in the Dáil about the availability of Hangar six at Dublin Airport.

The airline has promised to create 300 aircraft maintenance jobs at the airport if Hangar six becomes available.

Former SR Technics workers are to hold a protest next week over what they say is the Government's failure to secure the jobs.

The Taoiseach Brian Cowen has said the hangar was unavailable as it is currently occupied by Aer Lingus and to break the lease would be "illegal".

However Michael O'Leary says that's not the case.
