Man to be sentenced in March for sex abuse of son

A 52-year-old man is to be sentenced next month after being convicted of the systematic sexual abuse of his son over a period of three years.

The man, who can not be named to protect the identity of his victim, was found guilty yesterday by a jury of 11 charges of anal rape; 12 charges of oral rape; 24 charges of sexual assault of the boy on dates between April 11, 2001 and June 23, 2004.
