Coughlan: Govt were told in advance of Halifax pullout

The Tánaiste has clarified that the Government knew of Halifax's decision to close its branch network here ahead of the announcement on Tuesday.

The Government is being criticised for not acting to try and save the 750 jobs at the bank.
