Bon Secours strikes averted
The threatened strike at the Bon Secours Hospital group around the country has been averted.
The action over pay cuts was due to go ahead in Cork, Dublin, Galway and Tralee on Monday.
Management and unions have agreed to enter talks on cost-saving measures after negotiations at the Labour Relations Commission last night.
Both sides have agreed this process will be concluded within three weeks.
Bon Secours management have agreed to suspend the planned pay cut for the three-week period.
