Cowen sets 1916 centenary as target date for full recovery

The Government is to refocus capital spending in order to get the country back on track by the 2016 centenary of the Easter Rising.

The Taoiseach told the AGM of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce last night that more pain lies ahead as the country recovers from the perfect economic storm.
