Woman dies in Westmeath fire

A post mortem examination is to be carried out today on the body of a woman who died in a house fire in Co Westmeath last night.

The 46-year-old woman died after a blaze broke out at her home on O'Connell Terrace in Mullingar.

Her body was removed to the Midland Regional Hospital in Mullingar where a post mortem will be carried out today.
