Attempts to identify remains continue

Gardaí are still trying to establish the indentity of human remains found in the Dublin Mountains.

The grim discovery was made by a mother and her son who were out walking in the Military Road area of the mountains on Sunday afternoon.

A post mortem has been completed on the skeletal remains but gardaí are not releasing the details for operational reasons.

A number of families with missing relatives have been contacted.
