The state pathologist is to visit a site in South Dublin where human remains were discovered yesterday.

The state pathologist is to visit a site in South Dublin where human remains were discovered yesterday.

The discovery was made by a passer-by on Military Road in Rathfarnham at 2.30pm yesterday afternoon.

Gardaí say the remains may have been there for some time.

The scene has been sealed off for a technical examination.
