Kenny denies FG missed opportunity to take power

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny has denied his party missed an opportunity to oust the current Government during one of the most difficult political periods in years.

Kenny has also dismissed recent political polls placing his party behind Labour in popularity - saying the only poll that matters is an election.
