Staff hygiene to be monitored at Drogheda hospital

The threat of disciplinary action is hanging over staff at a Louth hospital if their hygiene is not up to scratch.

Management at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital are to carry out spot checks on hand-hygiene practices amongst staff, and anyone who fails the test will be named and shamed within the hospital.
