Cowen and Brown to remain in the North overnight

The Taoiseach and the British Prime Minister are to stay in Belfast overnight as they are locked in crisis talks to prevent the North's power sharing government from collapsing.

Sinn Fein and the DUP are in deadlock over transferring policing and justice powers from Westminster to Stormont.
