Ahern would have 'no difficulty' appearing before banking inquiry

Former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern has said he would have "no difficulty" giving evidence in public before the Government's banking inquiry.

Mr Ahern may be called as a witness before the investigation as he was Taoiseach during a large portion of the property boom.
