FG: Government losing battle against gangland crime

The Government is today defending its record on gangland crime, following the fifth gun murder in just less than a fortnight.

A post mortem is being carried out on the latest victim, 42-year-old Gerard Stanton, who was shot dead in the driveway of his Cork home last night.
