Man faces 185 counts of raping daughters

A 48-year-old man will appear in court today charged with 185 counts of raping his daughters over a 17-year period.

The Galway man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has already been charged with the abuse and neglect of his children.

His wife faces 18 charges of cruelty and neglect and will appear in court again next week.

The man is due before Harristown District Court later today.
