Grounded Shannon Airport plane given all-clear

A Dutch plane grounded in Shannon Airport when a passenger allegedly claimed there was a bomb on board returned home today after it was given the all-clear by gardaí.

The Caribbean-bound flight’s pilot diverted to Shannon for an emergency landing and evacuation after a 44-year-old man reportedly made the threat.
