Most commuter bus services in the east of the country into Dublin are currently operating this morning with delays, according to Bus Éireann.

Most commuter bus services in the east of the country into Dublin are currently operating this morning with delays, according to Bus Éireann.

Local services operating on secondary roads are expected to be disrupted, however.

The majority of services outside of the east of the country are operating with delays in some areas.

The following services are cancelled at the moment:

Dublin-Waterford 10.30am

Dublin-Rosslare 8.30am

102 Ardcath-Dublin

118 Kilican-Dublin

163 Drogheda/Donore

189 Drogheda/Grangebellew

190 Drogheda/Laytown

There is a limited service on the following routes at the moment:

173 Drogheda Town Service (North and South)

186 Drogheda/Clogherhead

166 9.45am Dundalk to Cavan only operating as far as Carrickmacross.

There is disruption and delays to some services in Cork county. The 246, 247, 248 services are cancelled and there are diversions on the 230 and 234 services.

"Bus Éireann will continue to monitor this situation closely and we would advise customers to contact their local travel office for information on individual services or visit www.buseireann.ie," said a statement.

"Bus Éireann would like to apologise to customers for any inconvenience caused."
