NRA: Grit supplies 'satisfactory'

The National Roads Authority has said there are now "satisfactory" levels of salt and grit to treat Ireland's main roads as the cold snap continues.

A number of deliveries are due into the country over the next 24 hours amid warnings that temperatures won't rise until after next weekend at the earliest.
